Established as Parkstone Vocal and Instrumental Society in 1919, P&P’s Musical Theatre Society has grown to become one of the best known musical theatre companies in the Bournemouth & Poole area.
They have performed a variety of shows from Oliver, to 42nd Street, Sweeney Todd, to Jesus Christ Superstar as well as their famous Autumn Concerts & smaller cabaret performances across the region.

P&P’s resident choir The Singers was founded in 1998, originally for members of the Musicals section who wanted to sing (but not to dance!) They have since become well-renowned for their precision, close harmonies and eclectic programmes.
Under the musical direction of Jane McDouall, The Singers perform two main concerts each year; in July & December, and often join with other sections of P&P to perform at a variety of other events throughout the year.

The P&P Players were set up in 2005 for members who enjoy performing straight plays.
The Players have had huge success with plays such as Rebecca, Steel Magnolias and A Bunch of Amateurs as well as our regular Summer Cocktails and One Act Plays series, even performing a show penned by one of their own members; Changing Fortunes.

Established in 2018, Daytime Voices are a community choir where everyone is welcome, and no auditions are required.
What started with just 16 members has grown to over 80 enthusiastic singers who come together each week to share the joy of music and friendship.
Under the talented direction of Jane McDouall, we host two major concerts each year (Spring & Christmas), along with informal performances for our friends and family.
